I was blessed to have found this place, and am so thankful for what the staff here has done to help me! After calling around from center to center and reading comments on each one I was fearing the worst possible situation. Then one by one, after meeting the staff, I was blown away by how much they actually cared about my situation. I would recommend TRC to anyone who needs help. Special thanks to Samantha and Amanda! I wouldn't be doing what im doing if it weren't for them.
Third time is truley the charm. Avoid butt talk and write the damn letter people. No meth addicts are allowed on the grounds. Those tweakers get the whole place in a tizzy!
Saved my life on three different occasions. If you're tired of fighting with addiction, this is a great place to get started. Period.
Such a great experience. Love the staff. I've done inpatient and outpatient here. This place offers hope for those who feel there's no way out. Thank you TRC!!
THIS IS WHERE I BEGAN MY JOUNEY LAST YEAR IN APRIL, THERE WERE THERE FOR ME WHEN I WAS SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED. THIS PLACE SAVED MY LIFE. GOING TO THE ALUMNI MEETINGS ON MONDAY NIGHTS IS GREAT THAT IS ONE THING I LOOK FORWARD TO EVERY WEEK
I was a patient from Aug 28, 2016 to Sep 7, 2016. TRC allowed me to detox off opioids and alcohol in a medically safe manner. The meetings brought in showed me a better way of life; a sober way of life. The case managers also made sure that my plan after detox was right for me. I am forever grateful to TRC and the staff.
It's really sad to see all these one star reviews because I can tell by reading them they're lies. TRC is a detox facility not a treatment center. It is recommended that you go to treatment upon completion of TRC. They only keep you about 10-14 days. (Sometimes this varies) Getting sober is hard! This is not a place for people who aren't serious about recovering! I've been to The Recovery Center twice. I've also been to treatment 8x at fancy places out of state that celebrities have been to. I ended up getting sober at TRC, a state funded facility instead of those fancy places. I can't blame the fact I couldn't stay sober on anyone but myself. I wasn't ready to quit and I wasn't ready to surrender to the process! I am now a member of the alumni group. I have held positions in the group like secretary, treasurer, and president. The alumni was the first group I got involved in and started doing service work. TRC WILL WORK FOR ANYONE WHO'S WILLING TO PUT IN THE WORK IT TAKES TO STAY SOBER! If you or someone you know needs help, send them to TRC! They saved my life! My relationships with family are healed, I bought a house with my husband (who I met in recovery), we have full custody of our son, I went back to school and I'm one semester away from graduation.
Great facility, awesome staff.
Saved my husband's life. He's been sober for 22 years.
My experience here was great, considering circumstances, being in a detox center alone with no friends coming off of drugs can be not only uncomfortable but scary. the staff there made my stay not only more comfortable but enjoyable, they made me feel safe, if i ever find the need for a similar place,i will choose, The Referral Center.
So far it has been a lot easier then i expected and its been 5 days. I dont really have any complaints the staff and nurses treat us really good the only problem any of us are having is not getting to smoke at least one cigarette a day. it would make it that much easier for a lot of us
Great place, absolutely love the genuine caring environment. Exactly what i needed to get where i need to be with mind and treatment goals. Great staff and case management workers who really do care and have been through a lot of what i have been going through. Great food and meets are really helping more than i can possibly explain with words. i highly recommend starting here for anybody trying to get into treatment and i have high hopes for success in my recovery.
it saved my life
Although I haven't been around too long, I've seen some amazing changes taking place at TRC. What a joy to be involved in a place that cares so much about the lives of those we serve. I would recommend anyone seeking a fresh start and a new life in recovery to start here! Recovery...It's a lifestyle!
